In addition to international trade and foreign direct investment issues, Kevin advises clients on the political, legislative, and regulatory process as it relates to the U.S. Government.
Prior to Mercury, Kevin was a Principal at the Washington Group and served as International Advisor to its predecessor, McAuliffe Kelly.
Kevin has been active in the political arena for many years, serving as a political appointee in the Bush Administration’s Commerce Department (ITA) and the U.S. Department of State (USIA) for the 1993 Korea International Trade Exposition.
Early in his career, Kevin worked for the Chairman of the Republican National Committee where he served on the staff of the 1984 and 1988 Republican National Conventions.
Kevin Allen holds a BA in Economics from George Washington University and a MA in International Trade from George Mason University. He and his wife Amy have four children and reside in Arlington, Virginia.
