Megan Coyne is a Vice President in Mercury’s Saddle Brook, New Jersey office. She specializes in digital strategy and political communications, with nearly a decade of experience.

Prior to joining Mercury, Megan served as Deputy Director of Platforms in the White House, where she led digital content creation and publishing for the White House social media accounts. Across all platforms, Megan’s work reached a combined audience of 31 million followers. In this role, she crafted a unique voice for the Biden-Harris Administration, led rapid response during domestic and international crises, and launched the first-ever White House Reddit account. Before her work in the White House Office of Digital Strategy, Megan served as Social Media Director in the Office of Governor Phil Murphy, where she established the online voices of the Governor and First Lady, transformed the New Jersey X account into a viral sensation, and played a key role in COVID-19 communication.

Megan was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 – Media in 2022. She is a graduate of Rutgers University with a B.A. in Political Science.
