Jennifer Bayer Michaels is the CEO of political fundraising strategic advisory company, JB Consulting Strategies. Current and past clients include the Wes Moore for Governor Campaign where she served as a Senior Advisor and national finance consultant. In 2020 she served as a Senior Advisor for President Joseph Biden’s SUPERPAC, Unite the Country and in 2021 Ray Mcguire’s for nyc mayor SUPERPAC, New York for Ray. Other past clients have included Governor Andrew Cuomo’s gubernatorial campaign (2009-2019). In this role, she created, organized and implemented a strategy that raised over $110 million over two winning election cycles - more than any elected official in New York state history and more than any Governor in the nation. Prior to the Cuomo campaign, Jennifer was finance director for U.S. Senator, Chuck Schumer for ten years (1998-2008). Jennifer recently launched a collaboration with civil rights leaders to re-instate masking legislation in New York State, Unmaskhateny is a diverse coalition that aims to protect New Yorkers from individuals who mask with an intent to harm, similar to the KKK.

Jennifer has served in an advisory role and consulted for several individuals and families who have sought her expertise and considerations as they participate in the political arena. Jennifer also served as a senior fundraiser and advisor at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) and prior to that was deputy finance director for Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy (MA). Jennifer graduated from Ohio State University with a BA in International Studies and spent her junior year studying at American University.

Jennifer has been honored for her leadership and commitment by the following organizations: Share our Strength, the National Foundation for Facial Reconstruction, MyFace and Healthy Child Healthy World where she served as a Board Member prior to them being absorbed by EWG. She is a member of the Weill Cornell Deans Council Board, The Mount Sinai Hospital Department of Medicine Advisory Board and she formerly served as a member of the Women’s leadership council at Stonybrook where she served as a mentor. She has been a supporter and charitably involved with the 92nd St Y, Riverdale Country School, Central Synagogue, Mount Sinai Medical Center and NYU Langone Hassenfeld Children’s hospital. Jennifer served as an official Delegate to the Democratic Convention in 2020.

Jennifer resides in Manhattan with her two daughters, Alexandra 18 and Reese 16. Alexandra attends Cornell University.
